What do we treat

Contrary to popular opinion, osteopathy looks at more than just ‘bad backs’.  It can also be beneficial for a wide variety of muscular and joint pains and postural problems.

The idea behind osteopathic treatment is to treat the root cause of the pain: for example many headaches are the result of neck and shoulder stiffness and foot pain can be a symptom of tight muscles in the lower legs.

There are many conditions which can benefit from being treated by osteopathy, some of which are listed in this section.
